This is the age where your little one will make the leap to taking her first steps. She will also begin to use objects as tools. She will begin to use a bat to push around a ball. Safety concerns at this age include making sure that smaller items can not get lodged into the child’s throat. No item a child plays with should be able to completely fit inside of her mouth.
